Striking blood bay colt with presence. Should mature around 16.2H. His dam is a JC reg chestnut TB mare from Kentucky. You can view her pedigree at pedigreequery.com - Tanna (1991). Edward's sire is our imported Friesian stallion Diederik (Sibald x Abe) which has a winning show record in the dressage arena.
He is a wonderfully behaved colt. Very intelligent, gentle and loving. He has ground covering strides and does have speed. Never had any injuries, lameness, illness. With his build and athleticism I believe he will be a winner in the show ring and therefore a wonderful stallion prospect.
As to the type of showring - I think he could do anything from jumping, eventing, dressage, H/J.
To let you know how sweet this guy is, he got out with the mares one day this past summer. I walked up to him, grabbed his mane and led him back to his paddock by the mane. He came along quietly - like he was apologetic!
