Rebel was taken in by us with another horse we rescued. He is about 7 years old and approximately 13.1 hands tall. He's got very decent conformation and a good disposition, but he's fairly green. In these pictures, he's being ridden by Tessa, who's 10yo, and he didn't give her any trouble at all. He has no polish and only knows the basics, but we're continuing to work with him. Based on his conformation and way of going, I believe Rebel would make a good barrel pony or a nice pony jumper. He's got lots of try and a willing attitude. He hasn't been ruined by bad training - he just doesn't know much. In the pics, Tessa is riding him bitless with no trouble. His whoa is in working order and he knows how to do a lateral flex to both sides. He's easy to catch, tack up and groom. He loads well, stands for the trimmer and is good for the vet. He's quiet on the trail, and handles everying from road traffic to creek crossings with ease. Rebel's price is negotiable, depending on the home, and I'm willing to discuss a lease/purchase plan if he remains at Bridlewood for the term of the lease.
