Rudy is a 4 year old appendix bred gelding, whos breeding goes back to the AAA race horse Mighty Felix on his mom's side and Duo Pep(Peppy San Badger) on his dad's side. His whole sire side is ate up with Hall of fame cutting and cow horses. He is quarter horse built, stocky nice rolling hip and musculer neck. He is a chestnut with a star that goes into a stripe and snip and has a funny little sock on the left front. He is broke to ride and is started on the barrel pattern. He is been to the chuckwagon races, around wagons, horses, crouds, bands, guns, water, etc. He will trail ride all day, loads and ties great. He is a people person type horse... very "in your pocket" type. He has got to be into what ever your doing. He is most definately a clown, has to be the center of attention, and will find some way of getting it. He will nod his head to say "yes" and plays with his lips, or knocks on his stall door, will throw his halter and lead rope that is hung on his stall at you, just whatever it takes to get your attention. Rudy's only bad habit is "sometimes" and I literally means "sometimes, not everytime", when you ask him to canter he will buck up. I don't mean he flys into bucking, bronc style... he is just being a 4 year old and playing or showing off type buck. He would in no means try and hurt you, but you will have to be a good rider to ride him because of this bad habit. I have put my 5 year old on him and he rides him with no problem, but he doesn't ask him to canter. It is just a play thing he does when you ask him for that next gear.
