Tex - Do you need a trail horse for when family visits? Here he is! 14 yr old, 17.2h, bay, TB gelding. Too sweet to be a TB! He is registered but we did not get his papers. He is great on trails, and traffic safe. He did absolutly wonderful for his vaccines, and he's great for the farrier. Tex does have some arthritis in his left knee (we just have him on msm for it, and he's fine). Stays sound barefoot and has no problems whatsoever when trail riding (He's never been lame for us). Has been trained for jumping and dressage but we don't ride english so I don't know how he does with it. I would not suggest jumping him unless it's just a few low jumps every now and then. We w/t/c and galloped on the trail with no problems. Does NOT try to race when galloped beside another horse. He's a BIG boy so wouldn't be good for kids but an intermediate rider and up will have alot of fun with him. Has been trail ridden by an advanced beginner on the trail at a walk, trot, and canter and he did great for her. Amazing to catch in the pasture!! loads, ties, clips, bathes. No buck or rear. Gentle enough to lead little kids on (see videos on our website).

All buyers must sign a contract stating that the horse may never be resold at an auction or to a dealer. We are also accepting a few owner surrenders.
