Pistol is a 16 year old barrel horse. We bought him for our son when he was only 7. At the time Pistol was way too much horse for him. So we kept him and turned him out in the pasture thinking we would either save him for later or sell him. We thought about both but did neither. Pistol was a 2D barrel horse when we purchased him. But hasnt been on barrels in about 3 years. He has only been used by my husband roping steers and penning cattle. He has been roped out of the box a couple of times and he leaves hard! He is a sweet horse and loves attention. He gets along well with other horses. No maintenance issues in the whole time that we have owned him. We have an arena and lights if you would like to come out and try him. Can send additional pics if you would like.
