Doll is a very refined mare. She is very well bred with Real Doc(LTE $17,000) and Gay Bar King being her grandsires. She also has Three Bars and Top Rebel on her papers. Her grandam on the topside was 2nd in the nation in Junior Barrel Racing and Junior Pole Bending. Before she was bred, she was cutting cows 4 days a week but wasn't quite aggressive enough to compete in NCHA. (UPDATE: We rode her a couple of days ago in a round pen. Doll works off your legs and neck reins but she will need a good tune-up before hitting the trails or playdays.) She could be a great playday or calf sorting prospect. She now has had her first foal, a thick chestnut colt that's a Doc's Hickory grandson. This colt's sire is NCHA money earner, Hickorys Play Tough. He will have ON his papers: Gay Bar King, Real Doc, Doc's Hickory, Doc Bar, Genuine Doc and Freckles Playboy. He is certainly cut to be a great performance horse.
