Nice, big made gelding. Almost automatic and being seasoned now. He is in training with Darryl Dugosh. "Skip" is 1-d material and has speed to burn. He does run to the left barrel first. You do have to check him more at the first and then just let him go to the 2nd and 3rd. Will not work for a heavy handed rider. You must be light and patient. This horse is BROKE. No issues, but probably won't work for an aggressive rider. He is a little timid if you get rough with him. He also ponies other horses great and knows the pole pattern but will need a little more work on it. He will have to have hock maintenance (has just recently been done for the first time). Skip is a red dun, but we put him on Platinum Performance and he turned a chocolate color. He is an absolutely gorgeous horse and is very quiet. You can run him in the arena and walk him out and he stays relaxed. He is extremely willing and tries hard all the time. He would make someone a nice high school horse and is young enough to go pro some day. He will be a tough one and should stay together for years to come. Has nice big feet and bone. Dam was 1-d, AAA. Sire has awesome low, hard turns and lots of push out power in the barrels. He was injured right after we started competing on him and we weren't able to finish him out and get any clocked times. He was starting out in the 4-d times and improving at every race. He had very limited entries. This gelding has a few full and half bro/sisters that are doing very well in barrels, running 1-d/2-d times. Check out my website for other horses for sale.
