"Rosie" is a super sweet Pony who is registered with the American Shetland Pony Club. She was ridden by a 6 year old boy on a 10 mile Trail Ride the weekend before I traded for her. The lady who owned her said she really hated to let her go but her son was interested in showing in Western Pleasure and since Rosie had been shown when she was younger as a Cart/Trotter Pony, she did not have the slow lope & head set they were looking for. She told me this little mare not only had show experience as a 2 and 3 year old, but she was also the producer of some Champion Offspring! They had been riding her for the past couple of years, before that she spent some time as a broodmare. She is easy to catch, load, haul, saddle, mount, stands tied, stands for farrier, (does not care much for a bath!), clips, she's 100% sound with no past or current health or soundness issues, comes with a brand new coggins, is up to date on all shots/wormings, and does fine kept up and fed or turned out. She is currently pastured with 15 horses atleast 13 hands and taller. She has produced a Grulla, Line Back Dun & a Buckskin so if you are looking for a PROVEN COLOR PRODUCER, here she is!!! I just recently moved to a new place with plans on starting a couple of Barrel Horses, this is the only small pony I have right now and I worry that one of my big horses will end up hurting her so I am negotiable on her price!!!
