Not a pony, but a horse, Kristull Tinsel and Kristull Twinkle are rare Caspian Mares (Endangered Species). This small horse breed possesses agility, trainability, spirit and heart. Caspian horses's jumping talent is no less than extraordinary as it excels with ease and proves a born jumper. The effortlessness with which the Caspian jumps race obstacles has won it numerous awards in the show ring and makes it an invaluable mount to the young, first-time competitor.... (read more)
They are intelligent and willing beyond any "pony". They love to be loved, and are more like dogs than horses when it comes to companionship and learning.
Crossed with small horses, Caspians add class, trainability, and agility to the resulting larger pony offspring.
Both of these mares are gentle and manageable on the ground. Their feet have never seen shoes and are strong with wide heels.
Tinsel (pure fantasy white), is a sweet, gentle 13-yr old mare. She is broke to ride but has only had small children and small people who have not asked anything of her: Mostly used for leading grandchildren and children visiting the ranch. All of the grandchildren are now too big to ride her, so she needs another doting child to love and care for her. She has had one foal and has many more years of productive brood mare if so desired.
Registered with CHSA and CRS.
$3500 if sold together $4,000 if sold alone.
Twinkle (dapple grey) is Tinsel's 3-year-old daughter sired by Kristull Tarrani. The breeding is unique in the world of Caspian horses, so the bloodline is precious. She was born black and has become progressively lighter every year. There is a possibility that she will become a pure white horse like her parents when she is older. Twinkle is halter broke and easily managed on the ground but she has not been trained - just spoiled. She is old enough to break to ride and old enough to breed.
Registered with CRS (eligible for CHSA).
$1500 if sold together. $2,000 if sold alone
They are rare jewels. Horses like this are rarely offered for sale (particularly mares). The owners are getting up in age and suffering some health problems. We want them to go to just the right home where they will be loved and their potential can be realized.
We prefer they stay together.
The pictures show Tinsel (white mare and dam of Twinkle), Twinkle (dapple mare), and Twinkle's sire Tarrani (white stallion)
Please call if you need more information about the breed and these two horses' genetic background.
