May is a 15.3, 10 year old TB mare. I've had her for 6 years. I'm headed off to Grad school to get my Masters degree and I don't have time to ride her or the money to keep her any more. She was ridden mostly in eventing. She is a great little jumper with good form. She is not for a beginner as she gets her own ideas sometimes and can be a little stubborn. She is very safe and very predictable and not a challenge for a rider with experience. She is VERY out of work right now.... (read more) The last time she was in steady work was 3 years ago, and that was mostly young riders taking lessons. She hasn't been in any kind of training for competition since 2008. So, basically, she's rusty. She needs to have a RIDER, she doesn't just pack along, she has to be told what to do or she wants to wander. She needs firm leg cues and a forward rider. She is NOT hot and she is not dangerous. She's a great all-around horse that can do pretty much anything with the right rider. Please contact me for more information and pictures. Due to limited time, I will NOT be responding to someone who doesn't fit what I consider to be the PERFECT new owner for May. So, when you contact me, make sure you know what you're looking for and why, and what you plan to do with your new horse and how. Otherwise, please don't waste my time. May was valued at $5,000.00 when I had her at an eventing barn in Maryland.
