Ace is a 11 year old 14.2 hand ALL around gelding. He started out in the pasture as a ranch horse dragging calves to the fire. He then was trained for heading, heeling, break away, and calf roping. He was leased at college and open rodeos as a break away, heel, and calf horse shortly after I got him because I didn't have the time to learn right away like I thought I would. When I got him back I started to rope off of him and then got hurt and was out of commission for nearly 8 months so he just gave lessons.... (read more) Now that I am back in the saddle, I am way behind on getting barrel horses ready for people and once again don't have the time for him. I have a friend that is roping off of him every week though and he is doing GREAT and videos are available upon request! Ace also knows all the playday events and is quiet enough for a young beginner or can pick it up for an experienced rider and be pretty competitive. With a little tuning he would probably clock around 2D times easily but I haven't hauled him since I bought him for a roping horse and I already have several barrel horses. He can be turned out however long and step right on him. No need to lunge and he will NOT buck or do anything stupid ever. If you want to see him doing something in particular just let me know! He just had his teeth done, new coggins, shots, wormed, and was shod in the past 2 weeks. He is an easy easy keeper and doesn’t fight with other horses but does tend to be towards the top of the pecking order. Ace would be just an all around great family/rodeo horse! He is a sweetheart and young and full of life. You won't find a more versatile, competitive, and gentle horse! Come try him and you’ll fall in love!! NOTE; I had a TON more pictures and videos but my phone broke and I lost it all :(
