Duncan is a great 9 year old gelding that has been around! He is gentle and has been ridden by both children and adults. He is a favorite on the ranch. He has been used to round up both cattle and a donkey without flinching! :) I am not sure why our ad is not showing his rated temperment, but we would rate him between 1 and 2. He has great "stop" in him and is willing to please. He does move off of leg pressure and is light in the mouth. He is a broke horse in need of a job. He has now been started in roping training and is showing great potential! Seems to really enjoy himself while tracking calves. If you would like more information on Duncan please feel free to call. Lazy J Ranch - We are a small ranch just outside of Macon, MS. Our lives are very busy with all that happens on our farm. We have 3 children ages 9,6,and2. The two oldest compete in local shows from April to October, and my husband has calf-roped for 10 years or so now. I offer riding lessons from April through November and we also board and train for the public. We love this life and feel very blessed to be able to raise our kids on a horse ranch. |
