Wonder is a beautiful red dun quarter horse with a big blaze down his face. He is four years old. He could be appendix registered I have been told. His dam was a direct daughter of Doc O'lena!!! This horse has ExTrEmE cow in him... My neighbor has cows and he stays at the fence watching them when they are within sight. The girl I bought him from pointed out to me that he had really short hair on his hocks that makes them appear clipped when they aren't, which was supposed to mean he had awesome breeding... I have never heard that before, but it makes sense... Gentle as a dog! He was broke and rode as a two year old and the girl I bought him from went off to college, so he wasn't messed with much for about a year. I have saddled and rode him - never offered to buck, rear, bite, or kick. VERY, VERY eager to please & picks up on things REALLY fast. He knows cues in the round pen (stop, turn, speed up, slow down). No bad habits and gets along great with ANY horse you pasture him with. Has been in barbed wire fencing and a one-stranded hot wire fence and does fine in either. Bathes well - loves water. Loads & travels well. He is only 14.2 but he will really thicken up this year - really has that cutting horse appearance!!! He is very stout with great shoulders, a thick neck, and big QH hips & still has that small, beautiful QH head. He is always turned out to pasture and has NEVER had a grass belly, he really keeps himself well and is a super easy keeper. Has great feet & will pick up feet easily - does well for the farrier. Has only had one previous owner which was his breeder. He was imprinted at birth and was handled daily. I have been offered over $1,000 for this horse due to his breeding, but the person was very irresponsible and Im not out for money - I simply want him to have a good home. I absolutely love this horse... The ONLY reason I'm selling him is because my husband and I have gaited horses and we are starting a breeding program... & since he can produce - he must go!
