This lovely bay leopard mare is a proven color producer; she’s produced a fewspot, leopard and blanket hipped babies.... (read more) She has a lovely head and neck, long legs and very sporthorse type conformation. She has primarily been used as a broodmare, but is easy to handle. Has been bred live cover and AI. Loads easily, will stand in stocks for palpation or vet work. Does not crib, weave or windsuck. Pasture savvy, respects fencing. Lunges and leads nicely. She has been hauled with her foals to horse expos and is not spooky about crowds or noise.
She would be an amazing asset to a foundation breeding program, as her deep Appaloosa pedigree has some of the stellar horses of the breed, loaded with Hall of Fame inductees and National Champions. On her paternal side she goes back to Chocklate Confetti, one of the Who’s Who of Sporthorse sires. His lines include Chocolate Sunday, Toby, Patchy, Joker B, and Apache. Also on her paternal side are Sutter’s Show Boy, a Pacific Coast Champion Open Jumper. Buttons B, Double Six Domino, Mansfield’s Comanche, Spotted Eagle, and Daybreak. She is CRHA eligible through Buttons B.
Her maternal side is also filled with Appaloosa royalty. Her maternal line has Hall of Fame inductee Dreamfinder. She also goes back to The Executive, one of the leading performance sires, and also a Hall of Fame inductee. She traces to Joker B, Colida, Prince Plaudit and many other horses that made the Appaloosa breed great.
She has great value as an ApHC broodmare. Bred to the right stallion she can produce a GAP/FPD eligible foal. For those looking for deep pedigrees, good conformation and clean genetics she is a major asset.
