I'm selling my Quarter Horse to buy a Speed Racking Horse.
She's a Mare.
We've had her since she was 5 years old. She'll be 12 years old this year.
She's around 15.2-15.3 hands.
She's a bay color.
She's healthy and has never been sick or injured.
Anyone can ride her. No bucking, bolting or rearing.
She is trail and parade broke. She'll cross water, bridges, walk beside passing cars, etc.... (read more)
She isn't afraid of anything.
She's currently in a pasture with a run-in (carport style) shed. She doesn't need to be stalled unless you just want to.
She is neck reined.
She doesn't kick other horses on the trail.
She stands for the farrier.
She's an easy keeper.
She's currently in the field with my gelding Tennessee Walking Horse and they get along great. But I've had her in the field with 12 other horses (mares, geldings, colts, fillies) last year and she was somewhere around the middle as far as pecking order.
She loads on the trailer with no problems.
She's had one baby who is now 5 years old that my dad currently owns and rides.
I really can't think of any vices, except sometimes you may just need a bucket of grain to catch her if she sees the horse trailer pulling up.
I'm asking $1,000. My main concern is a good home for her since she's been in the family he whole life, because even though we bought her at age 5, she came from a friend of ours.
She's located in Varina, near Varina High School.
Call me, Kevin, at show 804-731-2058 if you're seriously interested in purchasing her.
