Gorgeous gray TB mare. Has had two foals, both very successfully and without assistance. Does not need regumate to stay in foal. A terrific gorgeous, typey mare that could be a huge asset to a racehorse breeding operation, or fancy and good looking enough for sporthorse breeders. Has always caught on first cover---seems very fertile and is easy to get in foal. She had a gorgeous filly in August 2009, without any assistance. The foal was super strong and healthy, and her IGG was through the roof--the vet was really impressed. I was distracted last year and bred her late in the year... She caught on first attempt and gave us a gorgeous filly 8/09. I did not rebreed her at that point to wait till next year to get her earlier in the season for the next foal. My fault, not hers. She is presently open, and in just three months can be bred to the stallion of your choosing. This is an outstanding big, strong, healthy mare, does not need shoes and no vices. This is the tremendously POPULAR line..... She is by Grindstone, a KY Derby Winner, who is by Unbridled, a KY Derby WInner. She is a paternal 1/2 sister to hot sire Birdstone, who sired some of 2009's most successful three year olds.
