Vuvuzela Z is a modern, athletic type stallion. He was approved by BWP head stallion judge Boudewijn Schepers where his movement was remarked upon as well as his loose elastic style of going. During his 5 year old year he produced countless clean rounds with his flashy style of jumping that demonstrates his scope and carefulness. Vuvuzela Z’s sire Vagabond de la Pomme has made his name a easily recognized one on the international scene with tremendous success under top French rider Penelope Leprevost. He was 2nd in the 2015 Las Vegas World Championships and has had several other top finishes at the world’s biggest shows. Vagabond, in addition to Vuvuzela, sired one of the champion young stallions at the BWP Stallion Approvals in Belgium. Vagabond de la Pomme possesses a dream pedigree on both the dam and sire side. His sire being the World Equestrian Games 2010 winner Vigo D’Arsouilles by Nabad de Reve, and having four dams on the dam line which themselves performed in the sport at top level; Sauterelle de la Pomme, Narcotique de Muze, Qerly Chin, and Kerly.
On Vuvuzela’s dam side the Holsteiner progenitors Contender, Cassini I, and Lord are united. Great granddam Halicia carries a considerable amount of Thoroughbred blood and descends from Julio Mariner, Goldschlager, Grand Empereur, and Miller’s Grey. This mare’s line produced, amongst others, the Grand Prix Horses Tilbert, Dior, and Goliath.
