Handsome 6 year old chestnut 16H Hanoverian cross gelding bred to jump. Registered, sweepstakes nominated Half Arab. Professionally started under saddle, a versatile horse suitable for Sport horse, Jumping, Breed, Cross Country, Foxhunting and Trail. Indy is a friendly, curious, people horse with a great whoa and goes easily on a light rein. He is eager to learn and has no vices. He has always been sound. This sweet boy was bred for our daughter to compete at Arabian Sport Horse and as a pleasure riding horse.... (read more) His grandsire "All the Gold" has produced some of the best Hanoverian jumping horses in the country. His sire was a regional and national winning purebred on the Arabian circuit (hunter, sport horse in hand, hunter hack, ...). He has been professionally trained and gently brought along. He is now at the perfect age to continue his training in any chosen field. He travels well, stands for the farrier, good with shots and worming. Up to date on vet, dentist and farrier. Our daughter however has become a full time wife, teacher and mother in the last 7 years. Riding and horse shows are no longer in her future. With that in mind we would like to find a up and coming rider who is looking for both a horse to show in Arabian Sport Horse and also wants an affectionate, willing partner. Indy should be very competitive at "Sport Horse" and of course is Sweepstakes. He was re-started under saddle late this summer but in spite of only being ridden a few times a month, he has is doing amazing. He remembers his previous training well. It would be exciting to see him regularly ridden and shown. I can only imagine he will do as well as his wonderful sire or even better. Serious inquiries only. Videos available upon request. Winter special priced to sell. Will remain $7,500 until he goes back shortly to the trainer.
