Additional Comments:
Chip will make a great trail horse, family horse, or more. Not spooky, very gentle, friendly & safe. He's had body work, deworming, ulcer treatment just in case, & he's up to date on teeth floating, feet trimming & vaccinations. Very gentle & sweet boy. Very slow & calm & has a great whoa. Trailers, bathes, lunges, ground drives. Off the track last year and had some rest and then was put into full training. He was used for a few lessons and is beginner safe although I of course recommend that all beginners be working with a trainer. Was coming along great in training & was developing three really good gaits, very soft & easy to ride. He had begun moving well enough to think about lower level dressage & jumping. He was getting springy over the caveletti! However he is not in work right now; we just have too many. Due to this I'm lowering his price because I know it's hard for buyers to evaluate him when he's out of shape. So get him now for $1500 - a great price for a big fancy TB like him with a super temperament. Still needs to gain some weight and muscle of course, and his feet are coming along barefoot or you could shoe him again. With an experienced rider he moves out and looks really flashy or he's happy with any rider to just sort of doop-dee-doop along. Has had trail experience, even up Mount Diablo. He rides great alone, great in a group, doesn't mind other horses gallopping past him. A very calm boy!

Company / Facility:
Allison Acres - Hello! Are you in need of a place to board your horse where you can ride after dark? Where you can get to the barn without stepping in mud? Where you can park on asphalt? Allison Acres is just the place. We have a covered lighted arena, and we do not charge extra for you to use the lights. Ride until 11 PM. We just completed major upgrades to the facilities, including all new sand footing in the covered arena, pea gravel and rock tie up areas (great for conditioning bare feet) and paths, pea gravel round pen, extension on the arena to stop the rain from blowing in...
The stalls have a fly spray system, are cleaned daily, and bedded with pelleted bedding which stays drier than shavings alone. We offer lessons and training as well, both groundwork training and under saddle, including colt starting and rehabs, tune ups or just plain keeping your horse in shape.
We feed three times per day so your horse doesn't sit around for long periods of time with no food in his stomach. We will feed alfalfa for no additional fee. Owner and barn manager Cindi Scoleri is certified in riding instruction and stable management and extremely experienced. Check out our reviews on Google Maps, which you can see at the bottom of our home page at http://allisonacres.org
Descriptions and prices for all services are outlined on the website. $325 is for board in a box stall. Outdoor group board is $270 and includes a feed supplement program.
We are friendly and we don't try to control you! If you want help, we can help, but if you're OK on your own, that's great too. Boarders get one free lesson per month and $10 off any other lessons. Or use your own riding instructor or trainer if you don't want to use us: no worries! Use our vets/trimmers or do your own thing. We are here to hold your horse for the vet or farrier if you have to be elsewhere. Ride in the arena anytime, even during lessons. Accompany us on our outings (trail rides, Extreme Ranch Trials, gymkhana, cattle sorting) if you would like. Ranch babysitting available also if you want to bring your children but need some help keeping track of them while you ride.
Two families live here and we have barn help 7 days per week also, so there is always somebody around to watch over your horse. Truck and trailer hooked up almost 24/7 in case there needs to be any sort of emergency vet trip. We are very experienced transitioning horses to barefoot, de-spooking horses and getting them family and trail safe, and instructing. All ages and abilities are welcome to have pony rides or lessons. Let's talk about your special needs. We look forward to facilitating your horsemanship experience.
