Look no further!! This is your next versatility horse. Moe was born and raised on our farm for the last 8 years. She has always been a reliable and trustworthy horse even as a young horse. I am very reluctant to sell her but I am moving out of state for college and cant take her with me. I would much rather her go to a home where someone can enjoy her many talents and love her as much as I do. As a 2 year old she was started in the show ring and has always been in the ribbons and many of them blues. When she was 3-4 we started her in the 3 gaited classes and she continued to do very well. She exceeded my expectations when I first took her into the speed classes, always placing first. She is very athletic and agile. She clears jumps with a foot to spare and turns around barrles like a seasoned barrel horse even though I have only ran her on barrels approx. 20 times her whole life. Poles are a breeze as well. She neck reins and pivots like a quarter horse and can do flying lead changes easily. She always places in the trail class. She sidepasses either way, takes her leads on command, and backs very well with the guidance of your heels. She is very attuned to your every movement and cue. I have trained this horse for 8 years and she could make someone a great trail horse or 4-h horse if you want to be in the ribbons. She does very well in showmanship classes as well. Her conformation is not typical for a walking horse. She has more muscle to her and great conformation. She parks out and perks her ears up for every class. The pivot is also much better than a lot of walking horses exhibit and she goes into a running walk with no pulling. She also does very well on trails, in the lead or rear. She has been to hocking hills many times and not a lot can phase her. If she does spook at something all she does is stop abruptly and stare at it until she thinks there is no threat. I havnt come across anything that she would not attempt to accept as non-threatening. She isnt a buddy horse, you can take her away from the herd with no problems at all. She rides double, doesnt kick other horses, and absolutely loves treats. She doesnt have any bad habits, has tough feet,(although if she were trail rode a lot I would put shoes on her back feet) She does have shoes on her front feet. Completely sound. Never foundered. Havnt had any health issues with her except she could stand to lose a few pounds. We like to keep our horses with a little meat on them but I was out of state for 2 months over the summer and no one rode her so she just needs to work it off. I took her to hocking hills in August when I got back and she didnt get too tired, so shes still in pretty good shape. She loads, clips, bathes, and stands for farrier. This horse is completely finished, all she needs is some conditioning and she will look like an athletic 5 yr old again. She still acts like she has the body of a 5 year old anyway. She does have some spunk when you want to get up and go but she is never uncontrollable. She could also make a great brood mare. I had planned on breeding her but my college situation changed and decided not to. She has great bloodlines. Her dam is a grand daughter of Prides Final Edition and her sire has Merry Go Boy all over his papers. Dam is on site yet Moe takes after her sire in conformation but has her dams gentle personality. I have used Moe as a lesson horse for a 9 year old beginner rider as well. She behaves so well for people who are learning to ride. She took very good care of her. I have never had any problems with this horse. I really wish I could take her with me but I cant afford to. I will only sell her to an approved home. Many pictures and videos available upon request. I check my e-mail often so please dont hesitate to e-mail me. (blondie_chick05@hotmail.com) CERTIFIED CHECKS OR CASH ONLY PLEASE. Thanks for looking. Price may be negotiable to approved home.
