Great Young Trail Horse - Perfect Foxhunter Prospect

'Bella' is a stunning young Percheron with an in your pocket personality. A rising 4 year old, she was rescued from the PMU industry while in foal last year. After being saved from slaughter and having her beautiful filly, she was started under saddle earlier this summer and is showing excellent promise as a foxhunter. Due to lack of an arena at her current barn location, Bella has primarily been ridden on trails to date. However, she is doing w/t/c and occasionally jumping small logs - sanely and enthusiastically. She is a full Percheron, but with her very ride-able size (16.2hh) and refined head, she is often mistaken for a QH/Perch cross and would make an wonderful ladies field mount.

She has nice conformation and movement, and is already well on her way to bombproof - she is unfazed by dogs, kids, water, and traffic. In fact, she has been used as a 'husband horse' on several 3+ hour trail rides and done very well. Bella really is an exceptionally sweet horse, and a very easy keeper. She greets you at the fence, has never displayed any stereotypically 'mare-ish' behavior, and will do just about anything for a handful of grain. Loads, clips, bathes, goes without shoes, and has never shown any signs of lameness or joint issues.

Bella has been ridden both Western and English, and she is going to be Cubbing this fall with the local hunt. Her price is currently $1500, obo - to a good home only. However, her price will increase with further training.
