All Around, Gaited, Homozygous, Natural Horsemanship Training
Sunny is a yearling Rocky Mountain filly. She has been extensively handled since 3 months of age and is a super in your pocket type girl. Sunny is confident and curious and has never said no when asked to try something new. We do trail obstacle competitions and cowboy races, so have an obstacle course that all our horses are trained on. Sunny has yet to be bothered by any obstacle and and is even fine with a tarp being thrown over her back. Sunny was originally supposed to be a show/trail riding horse and the founding mare for a small breeding facility due to her old time build and direct bloodlines to foundation sires, but we have decided to downsize our herd and only keep our few that we have had for many years.... (read more) Sunny is only one year old, but she already shows promise as a great family horse. She has a nice level head and independent and trusting. Sunny is a rare color, red chocolate, also known as silver bay. Basically a bay horse with silver or white mane and tail. Vet reference is available upon request. Sunny is one nice girl and we hate to see her go, but we are hoping she can continue on and contribute to this rare breeds future. Sunny is a well rounded gal, excellent for farrier, loads on a trailer, does obstacles, stands in cross ties, tolerates fly spray, clippers, and has been trained using natural horsemanship methods. She's one nice filly you will be proud to own. Please contact with any questions you may have. Sunny is currently not registered as i felt that the new owners may want to name her themselves, but i can take care of it if you'd like and she is eligible for Rocky mountain, Kentucky mountain, american gaited and united mountain horse registration. Sunny is expected to get to at least 15 hands. Her sire was 15.2 and her dam is 14.3.
