Ms Silver Feature, or Elle, is a beautiful mare. She has wonderful

confirmation and even better bloodlines. We originally had plans of using her as a trail horse and eventually as a broodmare. She currently has never foaled. But an unfortunate accident while she was in the pasture has now changed our plans. We are not sure what caused the injury about 5 weeks ago, but after getting x-rays done 8/8/08 on her right hind leg we now know that she has bone growth occurring on the back of her fetlock joint. The growth had only recently irritated the tendons to make the leg swell. This is causing

her to become sore easily and to be lame. Eventually even with resting the bone growth would shred the tendons. Surgery at the University of Illinois is the next step, but we are unable to provide her the surgery she needs. Our hope is that someone would be interested in investing in her because of her bloodlines.
