Apache is a little over 13h tall, gelding, and is broke. Loads, ties, rides bareback or saddle. He is not spooky and is easy to tack. My 10year old tacked him up (how I don't know because she is little and he is tall, so he is tolerant) I bought him from a Kill pen in Perkins (where they are making a nice profit on sale barn horses and running like a charity) I had him gelded, and sent him off to be broke. He has lost quite a bit of weight from being gelded and ridden in the heat but is now ready for a home where he can be ridden and used.... (read more) We are loving on him and getting some weight back on him so that will be resolved soon.
He is a Sandy, Buckskin color Appy and has never been foundered and has a beautiful face and nice jaw. This is my 10 year old riding him but since he is newly broke I am not selling him as a "Child" pony, though my kids could ride him and a youth that knows horses or has ridden before could ride him as well. If you are a first time horse owner or your kids are "taking lesson" please pass and go find an older pony or horse to buy with many years of experience. While being broke he was taken on trail rides almost daily and will cross over or go through just about anything.
Apache isn't one to try to run off or have a ton of speed to him, but will trot off if asked. He will "NOT" make a play day pony, he has a hitch that shows up once and a great while in the rear end, I think the stronger he gets the better it will get. Since he has been home for a week I have only seen it once, but worth noting.
He is in with gelding, minis, ponies, mares etc and gets along with all of them. Never foundered and UTD on shots and wormed on 7/2/16.
There is a Craigs list ad on him with lots more pictures: Tulsa listing, Farm and Garden section, look for him by name "Apache".
