Dirty Pearle Gem is a sweet and quiet mare. She is as smooth a ride as they come, and a super cute mover, still a little green, but quickly learning all the tricks of the trade. Soon enough she'll be sweeping the show ring! The photos show a western saddle, but only because we didn't have our other with us that day. Pearle would do well either English or Western and would be a solid, fearless trail horse- but she has been being trained English. She does not spook, "take off", buck, or rear- but she is still learning, so an intermediate to advanced rider would be best suited for her.She is a beautiful girl with a wonderful attitude, has excellent conformation, great feet, and has always been a sound and easy keeper- in the 5 years that I've owned her she has never been lame, and has never been sick! (Knock on wood.)Pearle trailers with no problems, ties, bathes, clips, stands for vet, farrier, and saddling, loves people and other horses, has "herd smarts", lunges, joins up, is excellent in fitting and showmanship, has wonderful ground manners, is totally bomb proof... I just can't say enough.This mare has been flooded to the extreme- walking over and under tarps, through tight spaces, had a rattling hula hoop over her head and stepped through, stood quietly eating hay while being used as a beach ball target, had circles run around her with myself holding fourth of July sparklers, been attacked by deadly plastic shopping bags... she could care less. She is extremely laid back.It breaks my heart to sell this beautiful girl, but my husband and I are expecting our first baby in just a few months!!! Pearle needs a loving forever home, and someone to take her the rest of the way!
