Stunning 2008 KWPN colt by Westfalen stallion Freestyle. Dunavar is a fantastic upper level dressage prospect by famous Westfalen Stallion Freestyle, out of our talented KWPN mare Kosette. Dunavar is black currently, but he will turn grey (a more rare freestyle colour). He has excellent movement with a natural uphill build. His personality is very easy going and he will make an excellent mount for the upper level rider or any amateur. His sire, Freestyle, needs little introduction. He stands at Dreamscape Farm in Vancouver BC, he is a 100 day tested Westfalen stallion by Florestan. He is a grand prix dressage horse who has enjoyed great success himself and via his offspring over the years. Dunavar's dam is Kosette, a Reg. KWPN mare by Uniform. She is a talented dressage mare, campaigned by a young rider to 4th level until she retired sound in 2004. As a broodmare, she has produced excellent foals. Her 2006 filly by VDL Navarone was the champion at her KWPN Keuring, and her 2007 filly by Freesytle (a full sibling to Dunavar) won her Canadian Warmblood foal futurity (in the absence of an Alberta keuring). Dunavar is booked for the CND WB foal futurity and the KWPN inspections in September of this year. We anticipate excellent results given the past history of Kosette's foals.
