Preacher is not only beautiful but is also a great, sane, trail horse. He has awesome four beat gaits. He will lunge if asked to do so and he has great all around ground manners. He is one of the best horses I have ever rode and will do what you ask of him when you ask. He loves attention and grooming and is easy to groom, trim, shoe and handle in every way. He has great feet but I keep shoes on him in the Summer and Spring just because of trail riding some rocky terrain. He would be a great horse for a man or a woman but I think, or like to think, he prefers women. :) I am only selling him because I have another mare that I raised from a filly and I don't have time to ride both as much as I would like because I am finishing my teaching degree. My husband did ride with me but his work load has increased and he just doesn't have the time or energy to go with me at this time. My husband is a experienced beginner and he really enjoyed riding him where as I am an experienced rider and also enjoy riding him. Preacher will be great for just about any riding level from experienced beginner on up the scale. My 6 year old son rides him in our round pen and Preach loves my son. I also know he would make a fantastic field trial horse if someone was interested in him for that because he has great endurance and listens so well. I want him to find a great home and will only sell to such a home. Also, he is fine with other horses or without them. He has lived in a boarding situation before and did just as well as he does in a private home situation. He is up to date on vaccines and dental care. I know that there are lots of horses out there priced cheaper but, Preach is worth even more than I am asking because he is going to take care of his rider and give you peace of mind when riding or handeling him and to me that is what makes a horse worth the money we spend on them and their care. I don't know what else I can say about him other than if you are looking for a horse that will be the same everyday and bring you hours of enjoyment whether out on the trail or in the pasture then, Preacher might be the horse for you!
