Beautiful 16hh+ Purebred TB mare. "Callie" had been sold, but her owner has just hit some rough waters, so would like Callie to find a new loving home!
Callie is 4 years old, and came off the track with an old bowed tendon injury. She is sound on it, and has been started back into training lightly. However, she has not been vetted or ultrasounded to date.
She is a typical TB when stalled, excess energy and no turnout = a bad attitude, but she is VERY sweet when you get to know her, and she has been living outside with a buddy and doing great. She is not an easy keeper either, so she does require a good hay, and a grain supplemented.
Callie is good with her feet, great with baths, lunges etc. She loaded quite well. Allthough she is learning to be a good barn mate, She does need an experienced handler, but she is a GORGOUES mare, and has great re-sale or breeding value. She just needs weight and love!
