Foxy has been an indespensible horse in our lesson program and taught many children and adults to ride. She is good natured. You don't even need to lunge her before you ride her even is she's not been ridden in months---you just get right up on her and she's ready to go. She has a very slow trot on a looped rein so she's excellent for beginners but as soon as you get a contact she knows an advanced rider is on her back and she's ready to canter and jump. Foxy is an excellent jumper--excellent form when collected up. She has a great rocking horse canter that the kids all liked to ride without stirrups! Foxy has been successfully shown in Low Hunters, and been to Spring Gultch--she loves trotting through the water! Foxy was also successfully used for Pony Club for a short while. Foxy doesn't have the best ground manners but she will jump right into a trailer, stand tied, picks up her feet, fly sprays and showers. Foxy is noisy but we love her anyway.
