Kryptonite has been handled since day one, and by the time you’re ready to pick up your foal, he will have experience with halters, leading, trailers, and more. We believe a foal started correctly is the best way to ensure a successful future for our horses. Kryptonite has been on trailers, had his feet trimmed, and been worked with daily.
This foal has been a friendly and stoic colt standing patiently even for his first vet exam. He’s got plenty of chrome to show off in the ring.
Kryptonite has the bloodlines of a champion:
Sire: Sir Gregory. A brilliant son of champion stallion Sir Donnerhall and out of a very strong dam line, Sir Gregory was a crowd favorite at his 2007 stallion licensing in Oldenburg, with his beautiful looks, super type, correct conformation, outstanding movement and very good jump.
As a 3 year old, Sir Gregory was the convincing winner of his 30 day test at Neustadt/Dosse, with very high scores in every category,
This gave him the high overall score of 8.85, highest score in the dressage phase of 9.08, and the very good score of 8.35 in the jumping phase.
Sir Gregory has also enjoyed much success in the young dressage horse classes in Germany. We plan to continue showing Sir Gregory in North America in future.
Sir Gregory is a very modern type stallion, of striking good-looks, with a beautiful head and neck. He has very correct conformation, his gaits are powerful, with a lot of elasticity, very good use of the hind leg, and he already shows a very good ability to collect. Sir Gregory also has a very good temperament, he is kind, smart and learns quickly, this goes hand and hand with his high rideability.
Sir Gregory has also already had a very high percentage of Premium foals in Oldenburg, and the Gold premium Champion Colt in Zweibrucken this year, who was also the reserve champion foal over all.
Sir Gregory's sire Sir Donnerhall was the 2nd reserve champion at the Oldenburg stallion licensing in 2003, he then went on to win his 70 day test at Adelheidsdorf in 2005 with a dressage index of 163. In 2005 Sir Donnerhall was named the "Hauptprämien" champion in Oldenburg. In 2006 Sir Donnerhall was the reserve champion at the 2006 World Championships for young dressage horse in Verden, and then was the Bundeschampion for 5 year olds dressage horses in Warendorf, Germany. In 2008 Sir Donnerhall had the highest index of dressage stallions with 182 points.
Dam: Simona. The Oldenburg, Simona x Santa Cruz x Jazz was a premium foal at inspection with a score of 8.2. An excellent mother, she was shown in dressage (see picture above of her at Devon) successfully, but now has been an excellent mother to five foals. Simona’s dam, Ramora, is currently still being shown at Grand Prix level. Simona’s excellent bloodlines complement those of Sir Gregory to produce an excellent dressage or stallion prospect.
