Thunder is a 2 year old overo paint gelding we recieved from a friend. He is apparently papered, and we are working on getting them. He was neglected so they bought him, but they gave him to us so he'd have a good home. He was very underweight, and Malnourished. That's why he's so small. He is only as big as our yearling stud, and he's 2. With proper feed, we expect that he'd reach about 15 hands, as there were some other horses in that herd about that size. He is not broke. We are trying to put weight on him. He had worms, and obviously never had grain before. Once we wormed him and got him eating grain, he's probably gained about 100 lbs in the 3 weeks or so we've had him. I do not recommend buying him if you are inexperienced. He could use some work with a trainer, or experienced horseman. I don't want him to go to the cannery, but I don't want to have to feed him all winter, so if you're interested, I'd take $50.00. If he doesn't go I'll likely have to sell him to the rodeo. You can work with his feet, but he needs work on leading, and has only had a blanket on him, not a saddle.
