Mocha is a 6yr old Palomino mare. She is a stout built little girl 12h tall. I bought her from a family who took her from their neighbor that moved away and they just let her sit for a year or so. They also put her in with a stud to be bred and she is suppose to be due in a month or so. (though she is not very big so we just aren't sure, she showed sign of being in season at my house yesterday when it was warm, but it could have been false) I have owned her for about 6months.... She Ties, loads, is sweet and easy to catch. I have ridden her and these are the first pics of my daughter riding her and there was NO buck at all on any of my rides or this one. I was reserved about posting her because she was a bit spoiled and would buck up if I flanked her from the ground. (not while riding) I have worked with her and she is doing very good now, picked up feet, brushed her flanks, combed her tail and she was great. I think she was just pulling a very spoiled act!
They did say when I bought her she had been drug to rodeo's and such, not that she play dayed just went for the kids to ride. I believe this to be true she just needs some wet saddle pads and attention to get back to being a REALLY broke pony.
She is one of the prettiest ones I have had in a long time, and has a very calm quiet eye and good nature. Gets along with everything and is not mareish. Dogs don't bother her and she is not spooky. You can kick her and there isn't a flight response. She has been wormed and she does need her feet trimmed a little but that is all.
Takes the bit and tacking very well. Please feel free to call with any questions. The extra pic of another pony is the pony she is suppose to be in foal with
There is a Craigs list ad on her with many more pictures: Tulsa listing, Farm and Garden Section and pull her up by name: Mocha.
