King is a gorgeous athletic 7 year old red dun registered Quarter Horse. King is a quiet gentle giant that you can ride on a loose rein. King has been used for trail and is a certified Patrol Horse for the Sheriff Posse. He has been shown in 4H in western and done well in the ribbons with his previous owner. King is quiet around children and handles new exposures well. He loads, clips, stands excellent for the farrier. You can clip his ears very easily. He stands quiet for all. King is good with kids running around him and takes new things is great stride. This horse has a very athletic build and the ability to go far in anything you put him in. King has the nice comfortable rocking horse canter and will pick leads up with cue. He would excel also in anything from working cattle to dressage. He stands quietly tied and is just an all around gentle honest horse. King has been ridden by a 17 year old girl this summer and has given rides to an 11 year old. He listened well to the inexperienced 11 year old and was very careful with him. He is not being sold as a dead quiet kids horse, but has the potential with more hours. King is up to date on all vaccinations, feet are sound with an excellent rating from the farrier. He is currently unshod being ridden on trails. He has a current coggins and is ready to go hit more trails or shows. During Posse training, King was exposed to tarps, orange fencing, flags (he carries them well), gun shots, fireworks, sirens, tin cans dragging. He took it all in stride. He was also in tight areas with other horses pushing up around him and he did great. King crosses water on trails and basically goes were he's pointed. This is a fabulous horse, but he is just to tall for his owner to get on and off for patrolling. So sadly she parts with him to downsize. King is being sold sound with a sound body and mind.
