Super Nice Trail Ride Show Gelding Potential

We got this gelding for ourselves and have found we just don't have the time for him that we thought. We have enjoyed him, in every way, he rides great and can get around. He is 15.2 hands and must weigh 1300 lbs, he is massive. He is sweet, likes attention and rides great on trails. He has been used in the past for working cows, or taking to shows with kids riding him in playdays..don't get me wrong he is not a speed horse, but i wanted you to know the kind of horse he is, and his scope of riding and temperment..He is ridden in a hackamore and does great, rides out, crosses creeks, ravines, climbs hills, goes thru heavey brush, over logs, this horse is like a bull, on the trail. He also rides well, neck reining, and leg work also but is smooth as can be. He is fun and easy to be around and has no faults. There is nothing wrong with him but we are cutting back and he is show quality. He needs to go to a show home where he can be shown in halter and ridden western and/or english pleasure..HE would be suitable for an experienced youth, amatueur adult to ride and clean up at the shows or just trail ride him. He is also bred very well, to go with his color and it shows in how easy he is to ride and his willing attitude. He is healthy, sound, sane and vice free but does not like a bit, though i have ridden him in the bit on a loose rein soft hands, he prefers a hackamore. He does not like anyone to ride him short reined or hard..handed. Since I am fine with a hackamore and he a perfect mount, i dont see any reason to make an issue of it.
