Silver is a grey 14 year old AQHA gelding. He is extremely well bred; his registered name is Star Six Doc, AQHA # 3333112. He traces back to Colonel Freckles, King, Doc Bar and Poco Tivio on the top side and Doc Bar, King, and Oklahoma Star on the bottom side. Silver stands 15.1 HH, 1200lbs and has a wide chest and strong hip. He grew up on a large ranch and was used to move and doctor cattle, drag calves to the fire, and also ridden several years in a feedlot. He has had the same owner for the last 12 years, but the ranch is downsizing so the older horses must go. At only 14 years old he is in the prime of his life and has so much left to offer! He is an exceptional ranch horse, is very cowy and is ready to go back to work. Use him on the ranch, rope bulls, pickup broncs or start team roping on him. He is great on the end of a rope and is very quiet, but has a lot of gas when asked for it and does not get hot! He will track a steer anywhere! Silver is very quiet out in the pasture, crosses water without a fight, and has no spook in him. He neck reins, spins, and just dies in his tracks when you ask for a stop.
