Maya is a home born and bred TB filly, 3 yrs old born May 9th 2005 standing just under 15.3 hh. She has never raced or even trained to run. She is not registered, but I do know her lineage. This lovely filly was started this spring with excellent results. She currently is walk/trot/cantering around very well. She will make a competitive Hunter/jumper mount, she has daisy cutter like movement, and very smooth gaits. She is a sensitive ride, but easy. If you are a balanced and experienced rider you will find this horse a dream to ride. She is light to the leg, seat, and hand. She knows her leads already, and her transitions are coming along very nicely. She has beautiful correct conformation, she could make an excellent broodmare in the future if desired. This mare could go very far in the right hands, she has lightly freejumped with good form, only up to 2 feet so far.
Update June 29/08:
Maya just finished her first show, she was a superstar. She showed in the Hack classes in groups of approx 25 horses. She made a few baby mistakes but was excellent otherwise. She placed 6th, and was called back in another. She settled to the atmosphere quite quickly, she was very easy to handle, and very sensible. She was also receiving comments all morning about how nicely she moved and how nice of a hunter she was going to make.
She is up to date on vaccinations, farrier, and worming. Her feet are excellent, and she has a very friendly and accomidating type of personality.
Her price will continue to rise with experience and showing.
