Registered name: Dee of Circle D, "Sophie"
Sophie is 12 years old and on the bigger side, 14-14.2. She is UTD on everything, farrier, worming, vacs, and dentist.
Sophie is very regretfully offered for sale. I had intended to keep her as my primary riding horse, and it kills me to have to sell her. But due to deteriorating conditions where I board my horses, my insane work schedule, and the growing needs of my elderly horses, I feel it's in her best interest to find her a new home.... Sophie is very lightly started. When I first got her she didn't even have any ground manners, she'd knock you over without a second thought. I've spent most of my time with her working on groundwork, tying, desensitizing, and round pen work. She's ridiculously intelligent and picks up on things very quickly.
She's been tacked and harnessed up, and has about 6 short rides on her. Only at the walk, mostly focussing on stop, go, and turning etc. Not reactive at all to being tacked and harnessed up. Very honest and has a lot of sense.
Only problem with her is that she's very buddy sour, and needs to be broken of this habit.
Feel free to ask any questions i didn't address. I will continue work with her while i have her, but due to my work schedule that's only about one day a week I get to spend with her.
She's absolutely gorgeous and sweet, and I'm looking for the right home for her. I don't have to sell her, so I'm willing to wait until I find the right person.
