Kid-safe pony -- has been to horse shows, on trail rides, and ridden down the road. Will follow or lead. Does well at walk, trot, or canter. Dakota is a 50" black gelding who loves attention and would make a great Christmas gift for a kid. My 6 y.o. is currently riding him, so a child with very limited riding skills can ride him. He's no dead head though, and a child with some riding skills can make him do more. Does fine around machinery, other animals, 4-wheeler, etc. Was used as a lesson/camp pony prior to our purchase, and shown by a young girl. Looks like a little Welsh pony. Can be ridden double or bareback, and is great for clipping, farrier work, brushing, etc. Uptd. on all vaccs, including west nile.
