He stems from a great mareline and his father is the most famous breeding stallion of the Friesian studbook. He is registered with the FPS, the oldest and most prestigious studbook for Friesian horses. Brugt's mother, of mareline 70, the ''Ankje Model Preferent stam.'' She was National Champion mare at the 1995 FPS National Mare Show (Central Keuring) and Reserve Champion in 1996.
