This was my Facebook ad: To elaborate, I have only owned her for about three weeks. I bought her from a mutual show acquaintance in hopes she might be a good show prospect for my daughter. I had only seen pictures and am very happy with the little horse, but she won't work for us for showing.... (read more) She is bred amazing for halter, and is broke (not sure for kids or not, I would say she needs some miles on her first for that), has had a ton of ground training, easy to tack, tie, load, bathe, catch, trim, doesn't bite, kick, hasn't bucked or reared up etc. She has got the softest eye and really loves people and is respectful. Everything you would want in a horse/pony. I am selling her because I bought her for the prospect to "show" and her right front foot looks a little "club" to me, this could be from the lack of trimming etc. Which I had done and it needs to be done a couple more times and I believe that would be gone. The main thing for me was the pastern was a little to straight on that foot. THAT IS IT. If I bought her for a trail horse we would be keeping her, if I bought her to be an amazing brood mare with her breeding/color and confirmation she would never leave. Her bone structure and body and tiny head meet all the criteria but we need a horse that can take the rigorous strain of training and showing and have NO flaws to be competitive. If you don't show you won't know what I am talking about, if you do you will know. I want a VERY good home for her because the previous owner sold her to me with the confidence in me if she didn't work, I would find a good home for her, she has and has always been very well cared for. She is not a typical mare and does not squeal at the other horses and gets along with everything, mini's, mules, ponies, big horses etc. Hope this helps you in thinking about her. Please don't call if you can't afford her or give her the home she deserves. I do not want her in a sale barn!!! The pictures in this ad are from a trainer friend I had come out and work her and get on to get his thoughts and see how broke she was. There is a craigslist ad with lots more pictures: Tulsa listing, Farm and Garden section, look her up by name "Lexie" Shannon 918-640-2516
