Snickers is a great mare. She was born in 1999 out of one of my fathers
mares from the Brooks ranch in Jamestown California. She was my first
horse. I started riding her at age 9 when she was young. She has been
used extensively as a working cow horse on my dad’s cow calf operation
where she has lived her entire life. Snicker has logged many hours under saddle. We use her for
ranch duties such as roping, doctoring, and branding calves
as well as rounding up and moving cattle.... (read more) We have also
used her on many deer hunting and pack trips. I’ve shot guns off her back multiple times. We have hauled her to ranches from northern California to southern California. She has raised 3 foals. She does well with inexperienced riders. Recently I’ve had a friend use her as a barrel and
gymkhana horse, she also made the video listed in this ad.
She has good feet with adequate soles and hoof wall and stands great for shoeing and
trimming which I do myself. She has no lameness. She loads great in a trailer. She is a
very responsive neck reining horse.
