"Stan the Man" is the picture of performance-potential perfection! He has "a nicely balanced hip and shoulder, and legs to die for". His dam is from proven eventing AND dressage lines (Tamino x Savana by Mozart), and she herself has beautiful, rhythmic movement and ALWAYS produces exceptional foals, particularly with a good-quality thoroughbred. Stan's sire is my deceased TB stallion, Wicklow Highlands, sire is my (deceased) thoroughbred stallion, Wicklow Highlands. He had almost 100 starts and over $628,000 in earnings on the racetrack in a long, successful career with an incredible history of soundness. After "retiring" he was entered into retraining and proved to be incredibly well-tempered, and extremely willing and trainable. He has stamped his first (and only) foal crop with beautifully balanced conformation, great legs, GORGEOUS heads and well-set necks, and ALL of his foals are extremely people-oriented and athletic. The combination of the thoroughbred influence with the quality of the Trakehner bloodlines is spectacular. Stan is an exceptional colt.
