Super Sweet and Gentle Bay Arabian Gelding- Very Cute Mover, Puppy Dog Personality, Quiet and Beginner/Child Safe
Maiden Chase Arabians of McDonald Tn. offers for your consideration: Bae, a 10 yo, approx. 14.2hh, blood bay, unregistered Arabian gelding with a white star and strip. Bae has been at Maiden Chase Arabians since he was a yearling and came into their possession about 3 years ago after his owners divorced and could no longer afford to keep him.... (read more) Bae started his training in March of 2015 with Tracy Davis, natural horsemanship and low level classical dressage/jumper trainer, and has made great improvement! Bae had had some general riding training before he started training in March, but needed his foundation work retaught and didn’t understand groundwork. Bae now understands basic natural horsemanship groundwork; he will yield hindquarters and forehand very well, backs up easily off of halter pressure or shaking the lead rope, side passes, and his circling at the walk, trot and canter has greatly improved and transitions between gaits mostly off of body language and energy, he does well at liberty! Bae has been retaught the foundation to fill in some gaps that he had, but now he has a great foundation; he will walk, trot and canter both directions nice and quiet, easily transitions between gaits with seat and leg aids, will yield his hindquarters and forehand decently, side passes well, backs up mostly off of seat and leg! Now that he has a good foundation he is starting basic dressage work. Currently working on bending and softening, engaging his hindquarters more and stretching and lifting his back, dressage 101! He is also being schooled in the counter-bend, leg-yielding at the walk and starting haunches-in! Bae is a great personality to work with and it is amazing to see the progress he has made in a short time, such a sweetie pie!! He’s smart, tries hard and is very easy going. He is a very sharp looking mover under-saddle and an easy ride. Bae would be amazing as a confidence builder for a young rider or a petite adult, a great first horse, or even a returning rider! Bae does very well being ridden in an arena or out on the trail. Has great feet and is barefoot, and has not had any soundness issues! Loves to be groomed on and has a long mane, perfect for braiding! Bathes and clips well. UTD on coggins and dewormed. Trailer loads great! $1,200 Contact info: Tracy Davis (trainer/seller) call/text 423-290-1796 for more information. Thank you!
