Additional Comments:
ASHA Registered and Microchipped. This horse has a lot of potential, is very showy. Has not shown to be too spooky, but still getting used to new things. He has had very little formal training. Has been lounged and does well. Has been handled since birth, he is very comfortable around people, too comfortable most times, he still doesn't know his boundaries. He loves being around people, he always wants to play, very spirited. He plays with his jolly ball like a dog. He will do good with natural horsemanship. Has been known to rear and strike when handled with force. He is NOT A BEGINNERS HORSE, you need to earn his trust before he will care to listen to you. He is very submissive towards other horses. He IS a bitter, have tried several methods to make him stop, he will stop himself if you catch him before he bites. Most of it should be due to his age, and lack of manners. He is a quick learner (good and bad), he is a very smart horse and even though he is hot, he has progressed quickly with his trainer (has only had 4 formal sessions). I was originally planning on showing him but have no idea on what to do and where to start, do not have the time for it either. He would be an excellent show horse, and those homes will be considered for offers. Would like to have buy back rights. I deeply care about him but I've come to realize that buying a young show horse was not the best idea for me. I don't want to leave this horse here to have no job and ride on trails, he gets bored easy and is ALWAYS looking for something to do, he needs a job and some training. I will also consider a FREE lease to a show home or a trainer's home (depending on training methods). He measures 14.2 hh now at 13 months of age.
