This mare is unbroke...she is not even broke to lead. She has not been handled at all. I bought her a few weeks ago when I thought I would have time to work with her some but shortly after I bought a new QH Filly which I plan to keep for myself to show and eventually run barrels on so I no longer have the available time needed to work with this mare. We have haltered her and she has stood tied a couple of times but she is extremely defensive towards people and has attempted to paw, kick & bite when messed with at all. I recently bred her to my Solid (Sorrel) APHA stud who has produced Palomino foals so if she took you can expect a foal in 2009. If I keep this stud I will most likely have him Gelded so I am not selling this mare with a live foal guarantee but I am selling her with the guarantee that if this mare does in fact foal I would be happy to buy the foal from you when it's ready to wean for $200!! This little mare is Jet Black with a gorgeous mane and tail! The fact that she does not lead and is going to take some work to get her leading is the ONLY reason you can buy her this cheap!
