QAR Novel Challenge - "Frosty" 4 yr. Reg. Appaloosa gelding. 15.0/1 H. Fantastic and unusual color! Frosty is a blue roan with a blanket and total body frosting. He also has some leopard patterning on his legs and a beautiful blaze. This guy is the epitome of mellow. He is totally affectionate, loves companionship (people and horses). He is so gentle that I have wormed him in the pasture with no halter on - cooperative and sweet. I have started him under saddle and he put up with a rider waving, jumping and yelling on his back without a flinch...just a funny look. I just do not have time enough to finish him, so I consider him "not broke" although he has been ridden. He will make a great family boy with training. He also has a gorgeous extended trot and is a terrific candidate for driving. His bloodlines are grandson of the famous Etch to Impress who was a Reserve National Champion in Halter and held 15 ROM's in a tremendous variety of disciplines. He is also a son of Challenger, who was a National two year old Canadian Champion and also has War Reed and King Leo lines. Excellent lines and a sweet, calm disposition with a fantastic, extremely unusual color display. He is a wonderful choice for family or showing.
