Was told he is a miniature Clydesdale. My daughters only second year in speed. They did awesome! Just think what he could do with a more experienced rider!!!! She has used him for local speed events and placed first many times with 2 reserved champions and 2 high points. All those ribbons in just 2.5 months of 2014. He was only used lightly and this is his only second year. NO soundness issues. No arthritis! He is very quick and can go through the polls and has a very quick turn he can turn right around those barrels like you wouldn't believe.... (read more) He is a great jumper and loves it! She has jumped him over 2.5 foot poles just playing around, did it with ease and loves to jump. My daughter has never been trained to jump. He definitely will be a super star with more training. There are very few ponies that have what it takes to be a star jumper. My daughter is growing fast so we thought it was time to go to a bigger horse. If it were up to her we would keep him and get another horse too. He WTCG. He is very quick and runs faster than all of our other horses other than our x-race horse. Was told he can drive when we bought him. Never tried it out because it isn't something we do. He is up to date on all shots and coggins. Ready for the shows! He is a very easy keeper. Eats half the amount of hay as a regular horse and needs no grain. He has very nice feet and is very sound. He has very good ground manners. He takes a bit, saddles with no problems, loads great, ties all day long, trail rides, stands for farrier and bathing, lunges, works well in an arena and really connects with his partner or partners. He loves Children. They can hang on him all day. The kids hang from his neck jump all over him and he doesn't even mind. He gets along with all other horses and has never been mean. Not afraid of dogs or other animals. No kick, bite, buck or cribbing. He camps, rides down the road, trails, through mud, water, sand, hills, thick brush and much more. Will lead or follow and will go his own way when asked. I have ponied him many many times with multiple horses and he is wonderful. You can lead him around with young children on his back all day long and is calm and great. He takes double riders and bareback. Will sit all winter and is ready to go in the spring His vises are, he has lifted his front feet of the ground about a foot while walking sideways. Nothing major defiantly could be fixed with a little training. My daughters second year of riding was with him so it wasn't nothing hard to handle. He does have a lot of energy so I would say he needs a more confident rider. My daughter started on him as a confident beginner. He will come with a vet soundness and basic health check.
Will ship up to 150 miles for fee.
