Lizz grew up in New York where she started taking riding lessons at age five. Over the years she became more involved with her stables and began working on weekends tacking up the lesson horses. She went to The University of Findlay to double major in Equestrian Studies and Business Management. Through connections at the school, Lizz was able to spend a summer riding for Tim and Helena Stormanns in Germany at their show jumping stable. Lizz learned invaluable lessons riding horses of all levels, serving as a groom and presenting horses to clients.... (read more) Her last year at the University of Findlay she rode for the Intercollegiate Dressage Association team. Lizz qualified for IDA Nationals both as a team rider and as an individual, where she was individual Reserve National Champion in her division. Working with trainers in the hunter/jumper, endurance, and natural horsemanship disciplines, Lizz expanded her knowledge base further. This broad base gives Lizz a wealth of perspective in helping each horse understand what is being asked of it - and each owner how to ask it. Lizz drives between client properties sharing her knowledge and helping clients with problem horses in the Prescott and Chino Valley areas in Arizona. She currently works with horses of varied disciplines including pleasure (western or English), trail, dressage, and even a few gaited horses. Lizz enjoys seeing the progress her clients make each day as they learn to overcome the daily challenges of working with such wonderful, occasionally opinionated, animals. With a newly acquired small stable, Lizz can now have a few horses on property in full training.
