At Breezeway, we have five full-time trainers working with both our breeding stock and your own horses. Ted Laiken, our main trainer, specializes in the starting of young horses and in giving them the healthy foundation they need for a sucessful life as either a competetion horse or a beloved child's pet. Drew Langley, acclaimed trainer whose charges have won such titles as the Super Muscle Man Quarter Horse World Final Futurity 2010 Runner-up and 2015 World Reining Open Championship, and he will both begin your horse's western training as well as continue their education or polish them for shows. Beatrice McIntosh has been our dressage trainer and adult English instructor for more than ten years, her expertise and advice have always been valued by our patrons. She is also a FEI Dressage "H" show judge. Timothy Barker doubles as both a racehorse trainer and eventing trainer, his love for Thoroughbreds has brought him to Secretary of the North American Warmblood Horse Association, and he graduated with a degree in Equine Training from Amistad Centrale College. Last but certainly not least, Rhonda Kainfield is both our problem-solver and 'horse-whisperer.' Her unconventional holistic training methods reconform flighty, agressive, or probelematic horses into agreeable companions through a combination of horse behavior and body language, owner-trainer cooperation, and an understanding of equine mentality and physiology. |
