We believe in developing the horse and rider to their fullest potential in a safe and humane manner. Our goal is to make each rider a skilled horse-person, and not just a rider.

We believe that the key to success is proper technique and proper muscular development of the horse and rider. We also believe in the importance of positive reinforcement for both horse and rider, and understand that each student comes with a different and unique learning style.... (read more) We strive to meet the learning needs of the rider so that we can support progress towards their goals whether it be just to rider weekly, or to show in the hunter/ jumper divisions.

We have developed a clear program for the progression of our students, and provide numerous learning opportunities through internet based activities, hands on activities, visits with equine care specialists, reading packets, worksheets, vacations camps, and meetings. We believe that creating an atmosphere of mutual learning and respect among all the riders enriches the learning experience. We try to organize trips to events like watching Grand Prix level riders, and attendance at any local equine related event.

We focus on teaching hunter/jumper and dressage to both horse and rider. We believe that the foundation of riding comes from the principles of Dressage, and that jumping is just an extension of Dressage training.

Most importantly though, we believe that horseback riding should be fun for both the horse and rider!!!
